There have been 46 tremors since morning

According to the information, there have been 46 earthquakes since morning. The intensity of the latest tremor was measured at 5.2 magnitude on the Richter scale. Its center point is 15 km from Selikhan city of Turkey. It was on the north-west side. The epicenter of the first shock was 26 km east of Noordgi in Turkey. Its intensity was measured at 7.8 magnitude. More than 2300 people died and more than 6000 people were injured in the devastating earthquake of 7.8 magnitude. Relief rescue work is going on to save the people trapped in the debris.

The President told the biggest disaster

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan described the 7.8-magnitude earthquake as the country’s “biggest disaster” since 1939. He said that more than 1000 people have been killed while more than 3000 have been injured. Gaziantep, Sanliurfa, Diyarbakir, Adana, Adiyaman, Malatya, Osmania, Hatay and Kilis provinces were badly affected by the earthquake. Erdoğan said, “The number of people evacuated from the rubble has reached 2,470. The number of collapsed buildings is 2,818.”
